Home Resources The i3 SEO tool
Whilst not every customer needs their web site to generate visitor traffic (in some instances the site may be a private facility for select customers or business partners) the vast majority of site owners will want to generate new business leads and sales via their presence on the internet. This requires Search Engine Optimisation
Enter the search engine.
There are two fundamental issues involved when attempting to generate visitors from search engines;
Once listed, ranking highly under relevant keywords and phrases. This is a not insubstantial task, and the amount of time, effort and investment required to gain and maintain useful traffic can vary wildly depending on the product or service and market sector.
However, no matter what your budget or the nature of your business there will always be ways of using search engines to your advantage. There are broadly two strategies to successful traffic generation and often a combination of both yields the best results. These are ‘site optimisation' techniques and ‘pay per click' advertising.
On agreement of the project we would like you to come in and meet our SEO specialists and you will have an opportunity to explain what you want out of your site which they will be able to guide you as to which form of action is the best to take.
SEO is a major consideration whenever you are looking to promote or sell products online. Many companies will claim they can get you to the top of the search engines within a few weeks, this is possible with keywords which are so ambiguous that very few people search for them, however if you wish to make your site appear with relevant terms, that are actually searched for, will depend largely on how your site is compiled, how it is maintained and how realistic you are with your requirements.
Imagine an online start-up supplying mobile phones or insurance saying they want to be on top of Google under the term "insurance UK" - this term returns 142,000,000 results! and with the likes or Churchill and Nationwide going for Adwords means that unless you have an endless pot of money you will not compete - so a more relevant term might be "motor insurance UK" which under the UK search still comes back with 1.5 million results, still a huge amount, but the reduced competition means it will save you money on Adwords, and give you a fighting chance with natural search engine results, but is still somewhat still unrealistic with the big players in the market.
To compete in the search engine wars you have to have a meticulous plan of creating relevant content, site optimisation and link building. The core component of your site is the way it built and how it handles the "Meta Data", is this dynamic? Can it be controlled by you for each and every product individually?
Our control panel allows you to manage all Meta content for each product you put on, each page you create, and for your site-wide content. We also go the extra step; we are currently putting the finishing touches to a powerful keyword density assessment tool.
This unique tool sits in the content area of your control panel, when you add content for a specific product or page the tool automatically assesses your typing, and will tell you which keywords are between 5 and 10% of the content - this is Google`s "golden zone" and is called optimal keyword density. If the words or phrases you are trying to promote are on the page less than this, a search engine will not realise what the page is about, more than this and its considered "spamming" and the page is often ignored.
Our tool helps you create perfectly optimised content, and automatically generates the keywords for every page and product of your site. Once you are happy with the keywords selected by the tool you just click "add meta data" and it will place these keywords in the Meta tags for that page.
To optimise a web page you would normally need to write the content, use a third party site to analyse the content and find your optimal keywords, repeat these steps until you have the keywords your are aiming for then manually add these into the meta tag area of each page.
Time consuming at best, this is generally done for the first few pages or products on a site then given up on! Add to this the need to redo the whole process every time any content is changed, makes this one of the least popular and most frequently ignored areas of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
Doing this manually for even a small site requires dedication, undertaking it for hundreds or thousands of product pages on a large ecommerce site would normally require dedicated staff.
The i3 Solution enables fully automated optimisation, of every page, in real time, while content is being added or edited, all with just a click of a button.
A unique, powerful and long awaited solution to one of the biggest headaches in running a website.
